SketchUp Tutorial 001: Creating a Cube

In this SketchUp tutorial we will create a cube To do this we need to... use the eraser tool to delete components use the shapes tool to create a rectangle use the push/pull tool to create a cube First let's delete the person Select pointer tool in top left corner With the pointer tool selected, click anywhere on the person Now select the eraser tool Clicking anywhere on the person with the eraser tool selected will delete the model selection Now select rectangle from the shapes tool Begin a shape by single clicking the axes origin sweep the cursor to the right until you have a rectangle. Click once more to set the shape  Now select the Push/Pull tool Click the gret surface of your rectangle and sweep the cursor upward until you have a cube.  Click once more to set the shape © www.teamhaircut.org

Downloading and Installing SketchUp

"SketchUp" is a 3D computer-aided design modeling application.  You can use it to create amazing models for woodworking, architecture, video game design, set design, and other similar types of projects. example SketchUp sketch  SketchUp Make 2017 is supported for both Windows, and Mac.  To download and install SketchUp Make 2017 for Windows, Google "sketchup download", and select the most reasonable link.  Save the download in your preferred location, and double click the the 64-bit Installer to start the set up wizard.  Installing SketchUp is pretty straight forward, just follow the prompts, and pick the install directory of your choice. Once the application is installed you should notice a SketchUp 2017 desktop icon, you can use to launch the application. Installing VirtualBox on Windows Host

To install VirtualBox on Windows, double click the executable file you just downloaded .  Follow prompt(s) to the "Custom Setup" dialog.  If you are satisfied with the default installation, click "Next", or "Yes", then "Install" or "Finish". Downloading VirtualBox

Google "VirtualBox Downloads", and click the most reasonable link.  This will take you to a page similar to this. According to Oracle, a host is " the operating system of the physical computer on which VirtualBox was installed. There are versions of VirtualBox for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and Solaris hosts."
